VMC seeks casual vets for emergency service

The WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC) is searching for casual veterinarians to work in the Small Animal Clinic’s busy emergency service.

Are you a veterinarian who wants to gain more experience in emergency medicine? Do you enjoy working with veterinary students? Need some extra income?

If your answer is yes to any of these questions, consider working as a casual veterinarian at the VMC. The positions are for 10- to 12-hour day/evening shifts on Saturdays, Sundays and statutory holidays.

The VMC’s emergency service is open 24/7 to patients from the local area as well as to referred patients from veterinary clinics across Western Canada. The VMC also serves as the region’s teaching hospital for future veterinarians and veterinary specialists. Our clinical team includes board-certified specialists, clinical associates and registered veterinary technologists, as well as residents, clinical interns and senior veterinary students.
