Save the dates for equine health talks

During the fall and winter months, the Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM) will offer two series of equine health presentations for veterinarians and horse owners.

Continuing education (CE) series

If you and your colleagues are looking for practical, equine-focused CE information that's easily accessible and affordable, check out the WCVM's upcoming CE equine health series that will run from October 2021 to March 2022.

Presented by members of the WCVM's clinical team and special guests, the series will offer 90-minute presentations and panel discussions on a variety of topics — including emergency management, laminitis, management of infectious disease outbreaks, and equine surgery.

While details are still being finalized, each online presentation will take place on Wednesday evenings (6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. CST) from October 2021 to March 2022. Click here for more details.

EquineED Talks for horse owners and enthusiasts

As a follow-up to the WCVM's successful EquineED Talks series earlier this year, the college's equine health team and special guests will focus on a wide range of topics — from hoof health and disease to reproduction and equine infectious disease outbreak management.

Beginning on Oct. 19, each 75-minute presentation (including Q and A sessions) will begin at 7 p.m. on selected Tuesday evenings from October 2021 to March 2022. Click here for more details.
