The WCVM's Large Animal Clinic and Field Service provide primary health care and herd health management services to producers of swine, sheep, goats, llamas, alpacas and specialized livestock (bison, elk and deer).

The WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre also serves as the referral centre for all western Canadian veterinarians and their clients.
