WCVM professor Dr. Tanya Duke-Novakovski, a well-known veterinary anesthesiologist at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre (VMC), will retire at the end of this year after a three-decade career at the veterinary college.
Veterinary radiation oncologist Dr. Monique Mayer and a team of University of Saskatchewan (USask) students and staff have translated a German veterinary anatomy textbook and published the English version to the USask Openpress site.
The WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre and Prairie Diagnostic Services have adjusted their operating hours during the holidays in December and early January.
Due to holidays, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) services for small animal and equine patients at the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre will not be available on certain days in December 2021 and January 2022.
