Happy holidays from the VMC

A holiday message from Dr. Steve Manning, associate dean of clinical programs, Western College of Veterinary Medicine (WCVM).

On behalf of the WCVM Veterinary Medical Centre's clinical team, I want to wish everyone a safe and healthy holiday season. It’s been an incredibly busy year for everyone involved in the veterinary profession, and I hope that each of you will have the chance to enjoy some well-deserved time and rest with your family and friends.

As a veterinary teaching hospital, we greatly appreciate the long-term relationships that we share with referral veterinary clinics across Western Canada. Your continual support allows us to offer a wide range of diagnostic and clinical services to all patients.

As well, a strong, diverse caseload enhances the quality of education and training that we can provide to our veterinary students and veterinary specialists in training.

We recognize that we can always do better as a veterinary referral centre. If you have a concern about our services or a suggestion on how we can improve, please let me know — I’m always happy to hear from you.

Best wishes for 2022 — take care, everyone.
