Urethral obstruction in male cats
If you have clients whose male cat(s) have been diagnosed with urethral obstructions and managed without surgery, please let them know about this online survey.
Researchers will ask participants to complete an online anonymous survey that will take about 30 to 45 minutes to complete. Information collected though this survey will be used for research purposes aimed at improving at home care and prevention of feline urinary blockage.
Researchers are particularly interested in clients' experience with advice pertaining to home care: food, water, litter box management, individual space, social interactions and engagement in natural feline behaviour.
The survey is open to:
- any cat owner over the age of 18 years
- any cat owner living with a cat diagnosed with urethral obstruction
